Tsar's tower - description and history
The exact date of the construction of the Tsar's Tower is well known - this is the end of the 17th century, or more precisely, the year 1680... The Tsar's Tower is very similar to a tent, only built of stone. The tent is propped up by 4 stone pillars in the form of a vase (with a smooth thickening in the middle).

For the king, this place provided an excellent opportunity to observe all the significant events that took place on Red Square. They say that the tower got its name (Tsarskaya) precisely from the "post" of Ivan the Terrible.

Restoration of the Tsar's Tower in the XX century
The tower underwent extensive restoration by order of Stalin in the period from 1946 to 1950. In addition to it, at this time all the other towers located on the territory of the Moscow Kremlin were restored.
